Foodie Fridays: Oreo Truffles



Oreo Truffles


1 package oreo cookies
1 8oz. package cream cheese (softened)
White chocolate bark
Food Coloring (Optional)


1. Finely crush 7 cookies in a food processor or place them in a ziploc bag and crush into a fine consistency.
2. Stir in softened cream cheese.
3. Refrigerate dough for 2 hours.
4. Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet.
5. Freeze for 6 hours.
6. Melt chocolate as directed on the package and if desired, add food coloring and canola oil to get a thinner consistency.  Then dip balls into chocolate, tap off extra and set aside on wax paper covered cookie sheet to dry.
7. Once dry, refrigerate and enjoy!

Makes about 36 truffles.
