The Coveted Hermes Scarf

I'm a huge believer in quality over quantity and iconic pieces that can be handed down. These pieces will hopefully tell a story along with value and beauty for years to come.  What's as good as the little blue box? The little orange box! Take the almost 200 years old Hermes (pro-nounced "air-mez") that started off as a equestrian bridle shop and has now turned into this ridiculous status game of who's who.  We all know how insanely out of reach the Hermes Birkin bag has become- recently demonstrated by the Real Housewives Lisa who was ready to drop $30 grand on on these bags (what the heck is this world coming to, when a bag can cost the upwards of $75 thou??)

Well for us non -A listers (....or D-Listers), the Hermes scarf is completely tangible and has a whole heck of a lot more personality in my opinion.

But what' even better than wearing these is decorating your home with them so you can enjoy everyday.  These scarves can go from modern to traditional and literally everything in between with color.  They are also a great jumping off point for color inspiration for your interiors.  I would love to have a few of these babies in my casa.
A classic with Hermes Orange

How adorable would this be in a young girls room?!

Of course what's better than an Hermes scarf is 6 Hermes scarves

Love this in a boys room
So if you are like me, and your husband would have your head check if you spent $400 scarf, Ebay is a fantastic place to get one of these beauties. Hint Hint, Santa!!!

Black White and Gold- This is so me.  Somebody snag him!!
