Home Spotlight: Bijou and Boheme

I guess that I just have feminine on the brain as of late, but this fellow blogger totally rocks the house! Don't be fooled by Christine of Bijou and Boheme's use of pink and feminine touches, she is quite a little spitfire and I'm hooked. Marble, brass and vintage....This is a definite must read!
Take a few peek's at her house--
Christine is bold for sure with her pattern choices, but does it in such an eloquent way keeping them in the same palette, very sophisticated.  And I love that she has a sense of humor in her house, the art and the wall covering are terrific!

What a GORG little vignette, that settee and pillows are perfection.  I love orchids so much that they could go in just about every room in my house, glad we agree.

I think that we can all agree that TV's are something that you have to design around, unless of course you are one of those people who don't have a TV--, which I don't really understand what that's about.....but I digress. I love how this sizable TV is incorporated, NOT the focal point, which I see so much of these days.

Christine also uses Mirrors all over the place, a girl after my own heart.  Not only do mirrors make your space appear bigger, they also reflect light.  Bonus!
How insanly jealous I am that she has enough space in her living room for two sitting areas.

Here is an earlier pic of the Christine's kitchen, but by the looks of her recent post/tease, she has made some renovations and I likey.  Can't wait for that unveiling!

See what I mean???? Brass pulls, and Marble and Wood, Oh my!

I can only assume that this is a shot of an office?  Is that cabinet an Ikea hack?  B/c it has to be hands down the best I've seen!

I admire Christine's collection of art and curiosities-- Her art collection makes me want to melt into a pile of  'I die.'  And it seems that most of them are from Etsy artists and reprints :)

Love the use of her live flowers, so bold and beauiful!

Don't think for a second that Christine gives in to the Holiday traditional, she keeps it glam with pink and gold to tie in with the rest of her home.

Her powder bath makes me want to bust out the black paint brush, like yesterday.

Must. have. lion head door pulls. And fabulous leopard fur.

I know that you guys are probably thinking, 'but I have kids that make my design very minimalist and we are overridden with toys.' Well so does this chick.....and its still fabulous.  No more excuses!

Thanks Christine for you inspiration!
