Foodie Fridays: Pumpkin Oatmeal

I love Pumpkin...actually who doesnt??? But the fall treat out there are really scary to the waistline. Case in point, a Grande Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is 310 calories, 6g of fat, and 47g of sugar. YIKES! Here is a great alternative that really makes me happy in the AM!

Try some Pure Pumpkin puree in your Oaties! Canned pumpkin is full of beta carotene, an antioxidant with great benefits-- a half cup serving comes in at only 40 calories with 5g of fiber! Stir it into your oatmeal and drizzle some agave nectar (or Stevia to really knock out the calories), walnuts, and cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice).
