In honor of Saint Pat's tomorrow, here are few inspirations to get you into the spirit. Green is one of my fave colors if you looking for something fresh but not too bright (i.e. yellow).
I'm working on a new project that is requiring some Feng Shui techniques and although I am no Feng Shui master, the rules are somewhat fun to govern the design. Green in Feng Shui is color of renewal, fresh energy and regeneration, and supposedly nourishing to your health, as it balances the whole body by bringing healing feng shui vibrations from nature......although I'm sure many of us will not be nourishing tomorrow with our green beer :)
And since its Foodie Friday, here is a little green treat to enjoy- PS I'm a huge sucker for the Rice Crispy Treat!!! And trust me on this, the chunks of chewy marshmallows is what makes this!
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 package (10 ounces) marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon (50 drops) green food coloring
6 cups crispy rice cereal

Ingredients
1 package (10 ounces) marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon (50 drops) green food coloring
6 cups crispy rice cereal
Lightly butter or spray 13x9 pan. Set aside.
Melt butter in large saucepan. Add about 3/4 of marshmallows; stir constantly until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring until smooth, then add remaining amount of marshmallows. Quickly add cereal to marshmallow mixture one cup at time and stir until well coated.
Press into prepared pan using a sheet of wax paper. Cool. Cut into bars or use a shamrock-shaped cookie cutter.
